Four weeks into using the app and the programming is awesome. I love how it integrates mobility, prehab, and plyo/power development into the functional strength sessions. There is a great balance of traditional lifts paired with unilateral movements, plus a solid focus on core stability through rotation and anti-rotation work.
I’m currently in a marathon training block, and shifting from a traditional strength program to this focus on prehab, power, and unilateral lower-body work has already been beneficial. It isn’t marketed this way, but if you are a runner looking for strength training that actually aids your running, I highly recommend this.
The app is also very user-friendly. I like the ability to swap exercises either from the suggested alternatives or the wider library and the option to add extra exercises at the end of a session (like some bicep work) is very handy.
I have just two suggestions for the app:
1. It would be great if it remembered which exercises you swapped from the previous week.
2. The ability to add custom exercises would be a huge plus. For example, I love weighted dips, but they aren’t in the library, so I have to track them under a different exercise to monitor my progress.
Other than those minor points, the app is great and I love the work the team is doing!
